Jeffrey S. Ragan, RPSGT
President and Chief Executive Officer

Jeffrey Scott Ragan, RSPGT is President and Chief Executive Officer of Carolina Sleep Medicine Inc. Mr. Ragan began his association with the medical community in 1991 focusing on cardiopulmonary disorders. He was assistant director for the Heart and Neurology Lab in two regional medical centers, and acquired specialized expertise as the Lead Sleep technician for an in-hospital sleep lab. Jeff eventually became one of the most successful sales representatives for Bio-Logic Corporation, one of the leading suppliers of neurodiagnostic equipment to the medical industry. It was during this time that Mr. Ragan became aware of the enormous potential in the field of neurodiagnostic testing.

Gregory D. Mieden, MD, PhD
Senior Medical Director, Carolina Sleep Medicine, Inc.

Dr. Mieden received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin and his Medical Degree from the University of Maryland. He served his residency training at the Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland. He also holds a PhD in Anatomy from the University of Wisconsin. Dr. Mieden is certified by the American Boards of Psychiatry and Neurology, and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Sleep Medicine. Dr. Mieden has been the Medical Director of Carolina Sleep Medicine, Inc. since its founding in 2001.

Walter D. Pharr, MD
Medical Director, Carolina Sleep Medicine, Inc.

Dr. Pharr is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Davidson College; he graduated from Duke University School of Medicine with the CV Mosby Award for the Class of 1985, and interned at University of North Carolina Hospital. A partner of Greensboro Medical Associates, he is Board Certified in internal medicine. Dr. Pharr has been honored for his community volunteer work and is a member of the Eugene S. Mayer Community Service Honor Society. He also has an extensive history of performing medical missions to such far-flung areas as Pakistan, Nepal and Peru. Dr. Pharr joined Carolina Sleep Medicine in 2003.
